Health & Intake Assist

The health area of IHOP1 is currently centered on Intake Assist, a pre-visit check-in system designed to help patients organize important information before meeting with a provider. The purpose is to make the appointment more productive by helping the patient identify concerns, symptoms, medications, questions, history, and priorities ahead of time.

Intake Assist is not a replacement for medical care or professional judgment. It is a communication and preparation tool. As this project develops, it can support patient intake questions, medication review, appointment goals, wellness history, follow-up preparation, and clearer communication between patients and healthcare offices.

Prepare

Help patients gather concerns, history, medications, and questions before the visit.

Prioritize

Identify the most important issue or outcome the patient wants to address.

Communicate

Create clearer information for the visit so time can be used more effectively.
